The point is not to advertise autism, but to promote understanding. If your child is kicking off in tesco it can be useful for other people to know that he/she is not being naughty, thus hopefully stopping the dissaproving looks & comments, which i, as a parent of an asd daughter know only too well, the last thing i want to do is explain what is going on in times of crisis to dissaproving people.
Recently a discussion started at the school gates regarding asd cards, someone suggested tshirts & caps with slogans would be much easier in times of crisis, what do you guys think?
