I have been married for 25 years and every member of my immediate family is on the spectrum...apart from me! I am their translator. I can't deny I've been through hell, but I'm loving proof that people with ASDs are incredibly special and wonderful individuals. I am privileged to have them all in my life; I am their translator and their defender. You can get past the stress and arguments, but you will need love and patience all the way: it will be worth it.
