I have recently joined, I do not currently have many friends (because of a social let down), and I am hoping to find some new people to talk to on the forum. Thanks.

Hi,

I am 18 and was diagnosed with Aspergers at 9. I spent 11 years in a special school and it has been two years since I left, and with absolutely no academic substance. I am very socially stifled and do not have friends. I am very high functioning, but I don't fit into standard social categories.
