Hi there Please could you all help my friend win a lottery grant. She has an 11 year old son with autism. The education authorities want him to attend main stream school on his own, no carer, no support. His condition is such that he has never been anywhere in his life without a member of the family or a care worker, let alone left to fend for himself at senior school! His family are working hard to set up a school for children with autism, providing the kind of education that they need the most, one to one. `The Wishing Well House' has been short-listed to receive a lottery grant, something that would make a world of difference. The family will be on Granada Reports at 6pm on Monday 26th November. The decision will be made via a phone vote. If the call is made from a BT line it is just the cost of a local call and you can call up to 10 times. The lines will be open from 9am until midnight on 26th November and the number will appear on www.biglotteryfund. org.uk/peoplesmi llions thank you Hi Viper/all - Sorry, gonna have to put the 'mods hat' on for a mo... Hope all will appreciate the reasons behind that decision. I've made a couple of amendments to the post itself, highlighting the TV coverage and the background story so that peeps can watch and make a decision about offering their support. Obviously, in addition to those actions I have to make the usual noises about the posts appearance on the forum not implying any sort of 'official' endorsement by those moderating, administarting and operating the forum.
