Viper Report post Posted January 9, 2006 I wanted to do a poll to see how many boys and girls suffer with co-morbids but since the change it is really confusing. Can't work out how it works now. Anyone want to have a go? My questions are. Boys with AS and no co-morbids Girls with AS and no co-morbids One of each with AS no co-morbids Boys with AS and 1 or more Co-morbids Girls with AS and 1 or more co morbids One of each both with 1 or more co-morbids One of each Only boy has 1 or more co-morbids One of each only girl has 1 or more co-morbids Two or more boys with AS one with co-morbids Two or more boys with AS and co-morbids Two or more boys with AS no co-morbids. Etc. Well you get the idea, anyone want to have a go for me, feel free? Viper.
Gordie Report post Posted January 9, 2006 What are "co-morbids"? I think you'd be better off just asking the question, without doing a poll. Looks like there are too many options you want to use, and personally I find them confusing anyway. James

lil_me Report post Posted January 9, 2006 Comorbid conditions, or comorbidities, are those conditions that happen to occur at the same time. Another term for this would be "dual diagnosis." Many people with AD/HD have one or more additional diagnoses, such as depression, substance abuse disorders, a learning disability, ODD, or some other condition.
