Hi jools,

It's a difficult decision to make and I'm sure you've weighed up all the pros and cons. As you say, time will tell, but I hope you start to see some benefits soon. >:D<<'>

well we have conquered the first hurdle of getting him to swallow the tablet!

first attempt it was spat back out but 2nd attempt it was gone and he was pleased with himself.

he starts on 1 a day and gradually builds up so by the time he's back at school he will taking 2, morning, lunch and tea.

:tearful: i still feel very guilty which didn't help when i went back to the chemist to pick up the remainder of the prescription today and had to re-sign and show some ID before they would give me the tablets.

it brought home how controlled these drugs are and made me feel rotton.

just praying they have a positive effect and no negative ones

Its hard at first but when you see them help their day to day living all those feelings of guilt will wash away, they certainly did with my son.

There will be a lot of controversy along the way but in your heart only you can see the benefits as nobody knows your child like you >:D<<'> >:D<<'>
