dotmarsdotcom Report post Posted November 14, 2014 what a peculiar post for me to have made? must of been drunk in charge of a keyboard there. bottles of vodka and the internet don't mix (at least not a whole bottle of vodka.) interesting isn't it however, that drink tends to bring out one's inner loneliness sometimes. Mihaela Report post Posted November 15, 2014 I guessed as much! You'll be swigging back la fée verte next https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=fee+verte&biw=1024&bih=489&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ei=vRVnVJrsDo7gaL_xgKgD&ved=0CDcQsAQ
dotmarsdotcom Report post Posted November 15, 2014 nice art work. I love that style of graphics. but don't worry. no way I'm touching absynth. just had a bad night the other night, and I thought a nice small glass of vodka would make me feel better. next morning I woke up with my face stuck to the keyboard, and an empty vodka bottle beside me. those vodka pixies eh? (I say innocently pretending it wasn't me who drank it?)
Laddo Report post Posted November 16, 2014 From my experience drinking spirits is one of the worst things you can do if you're having a bad night. The drink has sent me off into horrible moods when I've drank whilst feeling low. Absinthe is the devil's urine
Mihaela Report post Posted November 17, 2014 "Absinthe is the devil's urine" Are you sure? I always thought it was the Green Fairy's urine.
Laddo Report post Posted November 21, 2014 Definitely feeling the loneliness tonight but haven't had a drop of alcohol! There are apparently around 8500 members on this forum but only about 10 people ever seem to post. I know a lot of people with ASD suffer from really bad social anxiety so are probably too nervous to post but still... it feels a little strange having loads of people read my posts but not even comment on them. It gives me a feeling of being observed, almost. It just adds to the deep loneliness as well.
Mihaela Report post Posted November 21, 2014 Oh, the joys of fame! It's quite common to have far more non-contributing members on non-Aspie related forums. I used to cull them every so often. As for loneliness, I have so very many interests nagging at me, that I've no time for feeling lonely! But I do understand you for at one time I'd suffer from loneliness and homesickness, and it's not nice at all. I hope you're feeling better today. Laddo Report post Posted November 21, 2014 I fear that it's the worst kind of fame - I can't help but feel like I'm constantly being judged negatively by those who 'view from afar'. I'm finding motivation to pursue my interests is slipping day-by-day. The loneliness has broken me, as it were. Thanks society, thanks for making me feel like I can't even be myself. Good job.
