  1. Just to remind everyone, I am still collecting feedback for this research project until 30th September 2010, also if you don't want to fill out a questionnaire but live in East Lancs and would like to be involved in the project please let me know and we can organise for you to have your say in a different way.
  2. East Lancs Mental Health Service have asked Action for ASD (a small local parent led charity) to collect feedback from AS adults in East Lancashire (either with or seeking a diagnosis) about their experiences of trying to access support or get a diagnosis through the East Lancs Mental Health Service. They are aware of the nationwide research that has been done and the recent autism strategy but would like to know specifically about experiences adults have had with the East Lancs mental health service. If you would like to have your say you can find out more & fill out a questionnaire online at: Action ASD Adult Research Webpage This is an excellent opportunity to let the Primary Care Trust know what you think, the more people respond the better representation we can give. So if you live in East Lancashire or know any AS adults (or parents/carers of adults) who may want to have their say please help by spreading the word about the questionnaires.
