I have been told over the years it is depression/anxiety, but now have been told is is aspergers, but instead of getting on the waiting list for help, the whole department has closed. It seems the depression/anxiety is a result of the undiagnosed aspergers. I hope this help, it is very confusing even for me.

Hello I have just been diagnosed after a lifetime of being treat for varying things including depression anxiety, a young psychologist arranged for me to be assessed for aspergers. I am just at the beginning but unforntunatley my PCT has withdrawn funding for the service so it is to close. I was desperate to find help and came across this forum I am 48 so not young and it may be that this is not th epalce for me, as a lot of people seem to be younger, there are many things I would like to ask aboput but I am still unsure if I fit in.
