Hi everyone. Ive spent the last couple days investaging safe space for my sons bedroom. We have an OT (who is attached to my sons school) coming out to talk about it next Monday. I just wanted to know who long other people may waited from initial assesment to delivery? Ive heard we could wait months or maybe even over a year! My son(6) has double handles on his bedroom door and has worked how open his door. He keeps escaping and running around the house. By the way he is none verbal with no sense of danger. Do you think we can be fast tracked?

Just wanted to say Hi to everyone! Forgot I joined this forum a few months back I’m the Father of a 6 year old boy who is diagnosed with ASD and ADHD. Jake is none verbal, is very challenging and has a very poor sleep pattern. Despite all of his issues he is generally a very happy and smiley little boy. My wife and I have 2 other sons who are both 4 years old and we all adore Jake.
