  1. Must be something wrong with me I love housework and gardening. I must be a bit wacko.

I do most of mine in the afternoon and do all my washing while I am cooking the evening meal and hang it out after dinner. Its usually dry by 10am. I do cheat though, when I am feeling lazy like not wanting to do the ironing, I hang the clothes straight on coat hangers and put them on the line, then take them straight from the line to the wardrobe as I hate sorting clothes, I do it straight from the line and dump the rest of the stuff that goes into drawers onto beds and make them put them away. I think if the washing is sorted and you have a dishwasher, it make the rest like light work.

Oh I love that feeling of putting my feet up with a cuppa and a nice clean home. I must be half mad as I look for stuff to do.

    ;):)

Strange person defo a bit :wacko::wacko::lol:

Mind you i will be moving to a brand new house in 3 wks time and i think i will be the opposite.....mind you i think it might have something to do with the pc will be on the top floor and won't be running up 2 flights of stairs that often!! ;)

  2. Hi,

This only happened to me a couple of weeks ago. I have known my friend 28 years, our boys are a yr apart and are more like brothers than friends. They go to different schools so dont see each other as much as they used to. Well ds wasn't invited to his party as he didnt want him there, i was quite upset because i have taught my children that although you make new friends you don't forget the old ones. Therefore when it is birthday time i say right theres you and your sister and this little boy....therefore you can have 7 friends from school.

When my friend got told i was upset she ignored me.....then to make matters worse, invited ds 10 mins b4 party was due to start coz some1 hadn't shown and she didn't want to waste the money already spent!!:angry::angry:

I didn't speak to her for a couple of weeks as i was so mad......we have kissed and made up now, and she was in tears as she hadn't realised how thoughtless she had been.

  3. mistaken housework as homework at first, but if its housework then defo guilty of neglecting if with coming on here, so I have to be very strict and disaplined though doesnt always work, I have a rule that I cant come on here now until I have done housework, Js Needs, my needs, Tjs Needs, then I have to also do a few rounds of the theory tests on my cd rom as I am trying, ( big try ) so I can then take my practicle driving test, sometimes though I have to neglect the housework or I wouldnt come on here and then try and catch up later.

but Yes time certainly does fly when your on here.

off now though off to do housework, and theory practice lol

    JsMum

Good luck with the theory!

So glad so many of you feel the same....... :notworthy::notworthy:

  4. IS anybody else the same.....

I always think right i will have a quick look at the forum before doing housework, then before you know it 2 hrs have passed!!!!

Well this is me, thought i would just take a peek for 10 mins and without realising it nearly 2 hrs has passed.....

Yet another excuse to think of as to why the hoover is still out!!

He doesn't realise this forum is my escape......to be able to talk to people who have something in common with your own life/problems is very reassuring.

Anyway better sign of now before another hour goes by..... :D

  5. Your welcome,

I know this might not be everyone's cup of tea, but it certainly worked this end. Sometimes i think things get complacent and the same bargaining tool doesn't always work and you then have to rethink a different statedgy.

My ds is typical of this, just when i think i can confidently handle his AS, he goes and changes and we have to think of new ways to turn it around again!:wacko:

    Good luck.

  6. Hi Luigi

Thanks for the insight, it happened about 10 months ago. But as the outcome of that meeting put in2 a deep state of depression and slight agorophobia i wasn't strong enough to deal with it at the time. Any fight in me and gone.

Now i have come out of the dark side and built myself back up, i have recently been reflecting on what did happen and was thinking they should never have got away with it in the 1st place.

I have contacted my union and they have advised i start going through a grievance procedure and they would gladly represent me.

Will keep you informed how i get on.

Thank you once again, i always thought them no win no fee solicitors were only for accidents ect so i will give it a go.

    Thank you once again,

    tina

  7. Hi,

I sympathise with you......we used to have this problem. Instead of sounding negative with the 'if you don't do it i will take such and such away' we turned it into a positive. We basically said to him if you get ready 1st time we ask then there is time for tv before school.

He happily accepted this and now does it most mornings 1st time.

Good luck with your quest >:D<<'>
