Hello,
Just wanted to introduce myself. I teach children with autism.
I'm always learning, but also here to offer help based on my training because I know a simple idea can make such a huge difference. My training includes TEACCH, PECs, social stories and intensive interaction.
I'm very interested in the developments in Assistive Technology, but also aware of the dangers of giving non verbal children something that talks for them as I've known children who would be held back by this.
Hope I will find ideas here that I can take into the classroom and to share some ideas too...
