  1. Sean (Year 10) began at a tuition centre in September. I was apprehensive about what to expect and valued your input. What a difference! He has attended every day, although somedays he doesn't have to be in until 10 or 11 o'clock, but he goes and stays to lunch which he has never done. I then pick him up at 3.30.

It's meant big changes to the family i.e workwise -but you know what..... it's worth it just to see him trotting through that door on his own.

Just thought I'd give you an update.

    Regards KHK

  2. Caroline

I don't know your full circumstances, but when my son started secondary school I had to go part time as he was unable to stay for dinners(his choice) all I seemed to do was be running to and from school dropping him off or picking him up. Then last year he went on reduced timetable (finished school at one) and now he's entering Year 10 at a tuition centre my hours at work will have to be adjusted again. The point I'm trying to make is that even though things seem totally working against you at the moment. things happen for a reason and find a way of working out.

    Regards KHK

  3. I'm hermitting today too. Hubby's out fishing older DS out just me Sean and the 2 cats. Lovely!!!

Then I decided to clear out the cupboard under the stairs and found the turntable I got for Christmas and have got no further I've been playing singles all morning. What classics Adrian Gurvitz- Gonna write a Classic, Kiss and Say Goodbye- Manhattans and the first ever single I bought Paper Roses by Marie Osmond(1973).

Just to say that sometimes being a hermit has it advantages. For me today it's wallowing in nostalgia. Well must go Leo Sayer's When I need You is lined up next.
