  1. I earned my respect already, being a moderator shouldn't diminish that respect ive built up over my last 1700+ posts. Ive earned my spot, and people see me as a friend.

I'm an ordinary member at heart, i'll never lose track of my roots here.

I digress however and agree with you sa skimrande. respect is everything.

  2. Thankyou for your post merry, and it's good to have you back. I don't think we should be able to do what we want there are certain protocols we must follow, as well as being bound to forum rules. Our power must be used sparingly, and accordingly.

However (In my opinion anyway) we should be able to step in, and do what we have to do without disscussion of forum politics, i.e Why was my post deleted? etc. It can be a bannable offence on some forums, to discuss such things publicly.

  3. I'm really bad myself. My worst problem is in the kitchen, i cant seem to keep it clean. My room at my old house would of shocked you, i can't believe i brought girlfriends back there, they must of thought alot of me to put up with it.

It's something i'm determined to tackle, but for some reason, house work is impossible for me, not impossible, i just plain hate it.

  4.

    2) moderators refrain from editing people posts under such guises as ensuring 'smooth flowing', as what does that mean ? This is a place for people to talk and if they can't say what they mean, then what is the point posting in the first place ?

Just going to touch on this.

So far i haven't actually edited an original post, all i do is merge posts, if someone has posted in succession within a short space of time. two reasons for this.

    1) It keeps the thread clean, You surely cant have a problem with me, tidying the topic up? Some topics become like spam pages, it's just manners to tidy up, and so far i've had no issues from anybody on that. I'm not censoring anything, or taking anything away. I remember of a moderator here a while ago, who used to edit members posts to add punctuation, again it's just polite.

    2) It's quicker for some members to post again, rather than edit there original post, or some just don't like to edit. I have no problem with that, it doesn't take a minute to fix the post. The editing of posts is just everyday moderating task.

  5. I'm better now. I got pericoronitis back in august, the pain was unreal, like someone screwing into my gum, i remember darkshine telling me to brave it out with the salt water, until i got to a dentist.

Got to the dentist, and was put on anti b's which proper mess with my head, and then had 3 dentist appointments in succession to chip away the hard on plaque. So it was a good soild month of torcher, but it taught me to look after my teeth.

I take very good care of the bottom row, near the gum line, where the plaque used to be. and also have a streamline brush for my wisdom teeth. not a fun job, but it's worth it.

  6. Episode 11 The christmas tree.

You pluck me form my roots, from where i was happy. You put me in your living rooms to dry out by your central heating, then you have children pulling at my brances. You cover me in tinsle and lights, and fake snow. You dangle candy canes, and shiny balls from my branches, all for one day. Come boxing day, you kick me to the curb.

I loved my life in the forest, now, i sit in a disposal unit, drying out, and covered with the rest of the used up trees.

  8. Thank you all for the welcomes! I would love to share my cookies and cakes with you all. The last cake I made was what I call the heart attack cake, roughly a foot squared cake, 3 layers: 2 fudge brownie, 1 chocolate, horrendous amount of cream cheese frosting.

    .

    Lol, i love you.

Seriously that sounds fantastic and intimidating at the same time. (If that's possible?)
