  1. Hi Tom, I am a mum of two girls, the eldest showing AS behaviour and being assessed (hopefully) soon. I will definitely check out your blog! Lottie
  2. Hi all, I am Lottie, aged 27, Female (with that name of course!) I am married to Craig, aged 30 and we have two daughters aged 5 and 2 (almost 6 and 3). I have been diagnosed with Anxiety and Depression and been on Anti-D's for around 6 years now. I have never fitted in but since having children this has become much more unbearable. I find motherhood extremely challenging and am learning new ways to cope but I wouldn't change my girls for the world. My husband has Aspie traits and so do I. I think this is why we are so compatible. Neither of us are diagnosed but I am going through the process and awaiting my appointment (March) to be assessed whilst he is in denial! My Mother had a severely autistic sister who sadly passed away a few years ago and my mum is quite Aspie ( I hope you don't mind me using this word?) My husband's father is quite Aspie also but I have never broached the subject with him! My eldest daughter is diagnosed ADHD but it is becoming more and more apparent that Aspergers is another element of her quirky ways! She is also a sensory seeker/ avoider and has potential coeliac disease/ gluten sensitivity which is under investigation. We live in Wiltshire where I am a member on the committee for our local NAS group and stay at home to care for my children when they are not at school and preschool. We have found this to be the best way for all of us to fullfill our potential as my DH is quite obsessive about his job and doesn't switch off from it easily and my eldest daughter needs me around to keep her world stable and running smoothly! My youngest daughter is showing a few Aspie traits but I don't know if I am just over analysing her! She is a little loving, caring character but has some very obsessive behaviours. I guess the odds are that she is probably Aspie too! So there we are, the potentially undiagnosed family of 4 Aspies :)
  3. That pattern is almost identical to mine! I scored 160 of 200 p.s. Good Luck with diagnosis, would love to hear how you get on
