  1.

I love dinosaurs and other prehistoric animals and I don't consider them to be childlike

No not childlike. If you worked in the British museum or were an archelogist this wouldn't appear childish. My friend likes Dinasaurs (and she's fourty) and recognises all the types like the

Velociraptor which lived 75-71 million years ago and was a very advanced hunter. If you like wildlife, so what? People used to probably think David Attenbrough was wierd but look where he he is now.

  2. When I was at school some girls used to make fun of me because I was quiet, a group of them said they hated me but didn't have a reason for it. This carried on until I left, in which time I learnt to keep my mouth shut and to be cautiouse of trusting people (because I couldn't be sure if they were prending to be my friend etc or waiting to kick my ass).

I have now left school obviously) and moved onto other schools and colleges where I met more maturer people. Recently i had to come back to home town to sort a few things out to do with family. One girl (after 20 years for crying out loud) thinks she still has to carry the bullying on! She tells people who know me that I am wierd and a bit dopey, I'm going to be honest here: if I met her in the street I'd probably knock her out.

I get angry with myself when things go wrong, I just fly off the handel. I've had a bad time but I still see red when thinngs go wrong for me. Is this part of my Aspergers? I am very shy and yeah I don't talk a lot. One of my friends admitted to me that when she first met me, because i didn't speak a lot and was quiet, she thought I was stuck up!!!

I am a nice person when you bother to get to know me, this girl didn't and has now made an enemy of me. When I get cross I self harm myself. I don't mean to get wound up and probably need anger management classes. I love my mum dearly but I feel guilty when I have this uncontrollable temper. Any advice please? I also have bed depression which don't help.

  3. Hi Gold MD,

I thought this one was dead and buried.(Poor joke)! But. Since you have resurrected it.....

I would say that there is no point in being afraid of what is going to happen to all of us.

Live life and be as happy as you can. Be kind to all living things(including yourself). I find this really difficult coz people really annoy me.

    I don't have any friends...But. That's my funeral.

Yes you must always b kind to people. What comes around, goes around.

  4. I looked at one in an Apple store yesterday which had a retina screen and a A7 chip, the one i was going to buy had an A5 chip. This one with the A7 is about £319, so I might save up for it. Looked at one in Maplins which is a Prestigio 10.1 Inch 8GB Quad Core Android Tablet Black

    http://www.maplin.co.uk/prestigio-10.1inch-wifi-quad-core-android-tablet-black-815853

Has anyone heard of that one please?

  5. Hi I would like a tablet for I Player, U Tube and Spotify or Last Fm. Facebook games: eg bookworm, bubble witch, tetris, scrabble etc. Also want to read emails and surf the net.

Do you think the Apple I pad mini is better then the Google Nexus 10 please? I have been told that if I put a Avast virus guard on the Nexus, then it could slow it down? many thanks and hope you can help me?

  6. Hi I play Badminton, bit of a racket isn't it har har! I don't have come to tea friends, but I have social friends. I went to a ladies indulgence evening yesterday and saw two women who used to call me names at school because I was the 'quiet one'. Stupidly they still glare at me which I ignore because they are a couple of idiots who haven't learnt to grow up. Last night I gave somethng to the Tressel trust which gives food to the homeless, I can gaurantee those two idiot women didn't and only came for the food!

Try spraying lavandar on your pillow before you go to bed and see if that helps.

  7. Hi Aura

    Quite right too!

I did not mean to hijack your thread, just made a mistake, tried to delete my message after posting it but was unable to do so. I am sincerely sorry for upsetting you and promise it will NEVER happen again.

Not to worry mate. I had a thread started on another forum, but it was spammed to death by people adverting modols so eventually it was locked.

  8. Hi Essentric,

Thanks for your reply. Patsy is a voice/acting coach, one of the best in the UK. Her book Presence: How to use positive energy for success in every situation, is a manual how to navigate in social interactions, with focus on self-development. This model of connectivity with environment called ‘Presence’. I though it compatible with your description of feeling a part of it.

What can I say? It’s different. Her methodology might seem as a bit laborious( breathing excesses, posture exercises and lots more) but one might find them beneficial and fun to lean. This lady has been working with the most celebrated actors, with prisoners, with severely disable people, you name it –she’s done it. Unfortunately for me, a few years ago she moved to LA and doesn’t teach in the London's Central Voice and Drama any more. They do personal coaching and short courses .

I am not being rude but why didn't you put your reply in the thread it was intended for? This is a discusion about famouse people who have aspbergers not about voice coaching. Thanks.

  9. There's a grandfather figure looking after your dog (I hope this doesn't upset you) until it's your time to come over. I lost my collie last year and I was devestated, then I got told that my uncle who dies in 1978 is looking after her.

Your collie is out of pain now and you will meet again, althrough she will look much younger then on the earh plain. The way i cope with grief is that death is not the end, it's just like someone going into a room next door.

    Love and light :)

  10. Hi Ben Nevis thanks for that. The snobs said a Wilkinsons would lower the tone of the city. I think it's been lowered already with the revamp of the market place, it's set to be lowered deeper. Now they have sold off the bus station and the roads make the one's in Afterica look devine. A lot of shops are closing because the parkings too high and the rent is expensive. Customers don't visit the city much as they can find parking cheaper elsewhere.

  11. Is Wiltshire that boring? I'd have thought for anyone with Wiccan sympathies all those prehistoric sites and crop circles would be right up your street. Not to mention a certain unitary authority's latest marketing venture!

Swindon playing cards are a big deal

Yes it's full of the blue rinse brigaid. No one if they can help it mentions that they are Wiccan in Wiltshire incase you get preached at or victimised by the bible bashers. there is a lot of village idiocy in the city where if you are a bit different at school through being quiet, people never let you for get about it for years on end. I was bullied relentlessly and two stupid plank women think they have to carry it on (their in their 30's now!)

Anything exciting happens in salisbury all the posh knobs start complaing that its too noisy. We wanted a Wilkinsons here but according to the posho's (as we call them) they complained and objected and said it would show the city up. Yet they allow the market square to be revamped with paving slabs that have already become dirty and scruffy.

Yes this is a Medieval city with a very Mediaval attitude.

  12. I would like a mattress topper for a double bed by Silent Night. Should I go for 3" (3cm) or more?
I have curvature of the spine. Ave looked in Argos and also seen these models:
Airsprung Memory Foam Mattress Topper & Pillow Set - Double -£74.99 -5cm
    Silentnight Luxury Memory Foam Topper - Double - £63.99 - 2.5cm
Is Silent night better make to go for?
Sorry to ask so many questions, I just don’t know which one to go for as It has to last me a while, and I don’t want to make a costly mistake and have something that‘s too hard..
    Many thanks for your help
