Hello, I'm from Dorset and I've been diagnosed for a long while now. It has opened some doors for me but still life is very hard having high functioning autism. Like you I was a black sheep in the family too. I have got more used to the diagnosis in recent years. I have a few friends with Aspergers syndrome.
