  1. Heheh, Cal wants to come with us to a Biker festival where other half is playing!! Will see what I can do but hes a bit dubious of the crowds and noise levels, wee soul. Lij wants to come too, but I don't think hes big enough-literally, hes weeny and I'd be terrified of losing him!! We shall see!

I'm just sooooo grateful Cal's tastes have changed....I remember driving down to Blackpool when he was small, accompanied by a tape he was addicted to...

Do any of you recall that atrocity of a dance choon, that went, (and I quote! Its etched forever on my memory, alas!!) 'I'm blue, da-ba-dee-da-ba-di,da-ba-dee-da-ba-di' on and on, ad nauseum?? It was that one....over and over...and over...until I truly thought I was going to go maaaaaaaaaad!! There was even a horrendous rappy bit on the extended version.....3 different versions of the same tripe on one tape, I ask you!!??!! It was NOT a good journey. I actually found that tape a while back, and showed it to Cal who decided to listen to it again- 'I can't remember that Mum.....'

(HOW???For the love of god, HOW?? I only wish fate would be as generous to me!!!!)

Heput it on, listened for a bit and swiftly ejected it-'You can have it Mum, its a bit pants, isn't it?'

Well! Thank you very much!! I very nearly performed a ceremonial burning of the thing!! :D

We did have a chuckle when I reminded him of the trip though!

    Hi Pookie

Which bike do is it? We used to spend most weekends at them till we had our lad and would love to take him now but he also doesn't like lots of people and noise, apart from he's own . Thankfully can't remember song you are on about but we used to have to listen to Barney the dinosaur all the time, of course he denies all knowledge of it now:lol:

  3. Apparently the assessment officer for J's 'statement' is waiting for my parental views, the forms were sent last Friday 9th May, hope they will turn up today, they have sent more just incase.

Seeing GP tomorrow after talking to him yesterday. My husband is actually off work, so we can go together for a change.

School have been very apologetic for J's upset, they didn't realise that he would be so distressed by the fingerprinting. This simply reinforces the fact that he needs specialist help and support.

My son's an anxious, frightened, angry and frustated young man and who can blame him, I'd hate to be on the receiving end of all this chaos. Things have got to improve for his sake!

    Hi Gothschild

sorry to hear you and J are having a hard time, it makes you so sad when your child is going through this. Have you thought about home educating or is this not an option? We took our son out of school because he wasn't coping there and the schools aren't very understanding are they. Good luck at the GPs, we are off there tonight as our son is having big panic attacks and its scary to see him like it and he too gets angry with us when he has one.

  4. Hi Clare,

Still looking, its quite a difficult task. Going to try Asperger United, tried Wrong Planet forum but better suited for older teens.Would be good to start something up for our children, but wouldn't have a clue how to do it. Will find something eventually!

    Nice to meet you x
