adamsmum Report post Posted November 2, 2006 Well after waiting monthes to see a new specialist we finaly got there and it was hell. The day started badly DH had told school he was getting K new shoes so he would be out all day Well ther was a chang in plan as ther is nowhere lacal that sells shoes to his liking. Then his brother got tummy bug so he ended up home. Of coures all this then DH dragging us round shops K went of on one whilst waiting to see new docter. He was pinching me prodding me and the baby then started trying to put things in docters haire He spent the hole time playing up and gigling i was so embarased and i did explain why he was like this but im concerned that this will delay his DX. Do other children with AS behave like this. K is 8 will be 9 in feb. This last year he has changed so much i find him hard to cope with. Adam is totaly diffrent hes 7 but behaves like a child of 18monthes.The docter asked me whot i thout i told her i now K is AS and that the school thout so to. We went throue all the things about him that pointed to AS whilst trying to ignore K's behavier not easy and no it dident work. Aparently i should hear in a few monthes she asked do i wont to see her for DX or should she write and tell me and arrang to see him in 6 monthes I told her to write.
