fairynormal Report post Posted February 3, 2007 (edited) It has been suggested that my son has a Surry Profile done to further help the search for a new school placement. It was mentioned by the headteacher of a school I called yesterday. Up till then, I had never heard of it and know little about it still. Has anyone's child had one done and what does it entail and acheive? Thanks Sam x Edited February 3, 2007 by fairynormal
tighna Report post Posted February 3, 2007 Sam, I don't have any experience with this, but I did a "google" and came up with this site. Might be on interest. http://www.ican.org.uk/TalkingPoint/Themes...%20Profile.aspx mark
fairynormal Report post Posted February 3, 2007 Thanks for that Mark. The headteacher said it was something to do with defining if the behaviour causes problems with learning or problems with learning cause the behaviour. I think the LEA are going to ask their Autism team to do one for him. Sure he'll love that ...... not lol!! Thanks again <'>
