zaman Report post Posted April 22, 2007 We've just come back from here: http://www.flagship.org.uk/ and it is well worth the visit. We had a great time. There is a good mix of historically interesting stuff - like wandering around HMS Victory, as well as kid friendly stuff where they can press buttons, fly in a helecopter simulator, etc. We'll definately be going back again, although perhaps not next Sunday as my son has already asked . . . They have a clause re costs on their website that says: Registered disabled visitors are eligible for the concessionary child rate and when accompanied by a registered carer, the carer can access the site for free. But I always get confused over what 'registered disabled' means - would getting DLA be enough?
mumble_rocks Report post Posted April 22, 2007 Its only about 20 mins drive from Home so we go there quite a bit. A really good day out although during peak times it can be a huge overload trigger take my word for it!
