UltraMum Report post Posted June 11, 2007 (edited) Hi all Just fell across this and can't seem to see a reference on the boards to this: Nearly a quarter of appeals to the Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Disability Tribunal in England and Wales concern children with autistic spectrum disorders (ASDs), more than any other type of SEN. The National Autistic Society is carrying out a short survey to find out your views on how the SEN system could be improved. This will inform our submission to the current Education and Skills Select Committee enquiry in England and our ongoing work on the SEN and statementing system in Wales. If you've experienced the SEN system in England or Wales, please complete our online questionnaire before 6 July. If you have any problems filling in the survey, please email our Policy Team on policy@nas.org.uk http://www.nas.org.uk/nas/jsp/polopoly.jsp...380&a=13718 Apologies if it's already been posted - just finished another letter to the LEA re J's transition support - stiil a bit down but been to a pamper days for carer's week LINK to the survey from the NAS page wasn't working at 3:45pm 11th June so I have emailed the above contact Edited June 11, 2007 by UltraMum
