justamum Report post Posted January 3, 2008 ok, will try and give you instructions...although I get lost myself Ok I am vista so it may be different for you. Open the internet explorer and click on tools.......other than vista right click your internet explorer symbol click the content tag enable content adviser you will be asked for a password and a hint...I put ASK MUMMY for my hint so he came and asked me! From there on in only YOU can allow web sites, temporarily or permanently or not at all. Hope that helps, don't pay for things unless you have to If your on AOL you can do this via AOL when you set up a child account. They then have to send you an email asking you to unlock a web site. baddad Report post Posted January 3, 2008 Hi Rainbow queen - I don't know either of them personally (ben's web browsing is fairly basic and I'm usually around to supervise at this point) but there are a couple of freeware programmes that get good reviews: http://www.download.com/K9-Web-Protection/...tml?tag=lst-0-6 http://www.download.com/ParentalControl-Ba...tml?tag=lst-0-3 This, along with tucows, is one of the most reliable/safe download sites, and their reviews and recommendations are usually on the nail... Also, both progs have good user reviews too, which is always reassuring ... If you give one/both a go let me know what you think, as it's not gonna be long before ben's doing more online stuff himself. L&P BD

L&P BD I'll give a second vote to K9 Web Protector- it's free and simple to use and works pretty well. Certainly a recommendation. Phil
