It might be useful to add that if you click on the above link, you will be directed to the NAS and given the option to send for materials that raise the profile of Autism (for free!). I decided to send for them and give them to people like grandparents and aunts who seem to struggle with understanding exactly what the AS means. I also intend to keep one by me in case we come across a professional in another field who doesnt quite understand, for instance a dentist, a lawyer, someone at the jobcentre etc
