Amanda_H Report post Posted March 11, 2008 Hello (I love all the smilies) I'm not sure where to start. I'm Amanda, I'm 18 (19 in April), I'm at university studying Dentistry and living away from home in halls of residence. I have suspected I could have AS for around three years, but have not thought about trying to get a diagnosis until recently. More about that in another post elsewhere! I've read lots of posts on the forum and you all seem like a friendly, helpful group of people... I hope you can help me on this (from what I've read, it could be a very long) journey (<-- just because it's cool!) Amanda xxxx

It can be a long journey towards a diagnoses. However it also depends on who helps you. If you don't mind me asking, why do you feel you may have AS? You will get a lot of support on here, so keep posting for support. Good luck with uni, I am a mature student at my local uni and have lots of ASD traits and a son (14) with ASD X
