CarolineJ Report post Posted April 7, 2008 Bim's case worker is coming to visit on Wednesday, for the first time sine Bim got his diagnosis. I don't know what to expect. When Bim was given the diagnosis, we weren't given any information about the condition or what to expect from CAMHS next. It felt like a dump and run. Does anybody have any advice? Is there anything we should be asking about?
bjkmummy Report post Posted April 7, 2008 hi, ben was diagnosed with cahms and they were going tosend someone out to talk to me but it never happened for a variety of reasons think the main things to ask is what they see as his main issues will be, will he need extra support in school and will they support you in that also do they have any information on courses run for parents by the nas such as the early bird scheme etc. to be honest, ive got most of my help and advice from here!!!!
