biker69 Report post Posted June 25, 2008 Just wondering if anyone has tried hypnosis to help with anxiety. Our son is going through so much anxiety and stress at the moment and we have been thinking of trying it but obviously don't want any old person claiming to be a hypnotist we want to find someone who has dealt with asd children, so if anyone has tried this themselves would be interested to hear how you got on, thanks
Flora Report post Posted June 26, 2008 I've never tried it. However, a former teacher from way back told me about a boy they had there with AS who had a phobia about balloons. His parents took him for hypnotherapy and he got over that phobia. Flora

CEJesson Report post Posted June 26, 2008 I had hypnosis a long, long while ago when I was young for treatment of a combination of things but mostly for bedwetting and anxiety. It worked for me
