Kris Report post Posted July 7, 2008 All, Following a number of requests from members and lengthy discussion between the admins and moderators we have decided to decrease the amount of time that members are able to edit their own posts. The current limit of 24hrs will be decreased to 4hrs meaning that you will only be able to edit the content on your own posts for 4 hours after creating it. This is to stop posts being substantially changed (or even deleted) after having had a number of replies from other members, which renders the entire topic useless. Moderators will still be able to edit posts on requests but will only do so in very exceptional circumstances so please ensure that you think carefully before hitting that send button.
