Foobabe Report post Posted August 16, 2008 Dear All, I am new to the site (which is great by the way ) and have been navigating my way around so please bear with me if my question has already been covered elsewhere. Our son S is nine years old and is going into primary 6 in September. Next year would have been his eleven plus year but here in Norn Iron the Assembly has scrapped the exam and not yet replaced it with an alternative (don't get me started! ). Any who, I was informed that as S has AS he wouldn't have had to do the 11+ as the child psychologist assesses him and chooses the best school for his abilities? Is this correct? As his parents do we have no input? I am not sure what the process is for post primary options for kids with AS in NI - Can anyone please advise me? Thank You
