ScienceGeek Report post Posted September 8, 2008 We're at the other end now in Bristol. No internet in the flat yet. Gah the dramas! We turned up to the flat on Saturday and there was no furniture (supposed to be furnished). The previous tennant just went and took the sofa, bed, fridge freezer... and... the lightbulbs . Oh yeah and he left it in a complete and utter mess, so now we have to clean the flat, after we only cleaned our old flat yesterday. I ache in muscles that I never knew existed until this weekend!! The landlord has been great and replaced everything so we had a bed to sleep on. Just another stress we didn't freaking need. Anyway so we have the majority of our stuff over from Glos, just the last few bits. The letting agent should have checked it all between the previous tennant moving out and us moving in, but they hadn't. Ems dad is going to try and claim back some of the agents fees (we could really do with the money tbh.). Just to let you know we are both alive, just a little stressed out.
