Tall Paul Report post Posted November 19, 2008 My 8 year old daughter has been diagnosed ADHD and started on Strattera a month ago. On the first night she woke up in the middle of the night and has only slept through once since she started taking it. She is not disturbed by it but insists on getting up and getting me up too. I get her back down but it can often take an hour or so. I tried giving it to her in the evenings as opposed to the mornings to no effect. Her consultant says he has not come across it before but to give it at least 2 months to settle down. Has anyone experienced this? Any advice or opinions would be appreciated... Tally Report post Posted November 20, 2008 Strattera is a stimulant, so it makes sense that it might cause trouble sleeping. It might be worth talking with her doctor about trying a reduced dose.
