jordansmum33ok Report post Posted April 27, 2009 I agree with the other poster.. get them an escort to school.. my son goes by taxi, too faraway and i can say its great! used to dread the morning gates.. the stares the gossip. Luckily im thick skinned and dont take it personally but i also dont like confrontation. I used to just smile back drop my son off at home then go get em! i was not aggressive but assertitive and politley but firmly stated to not diuscuss.. shout or abuse me in front of my son.. there is a time an place to talk about things and on my way home whilst im trying keep my son calm was not one of them! i didnt critize other parents even though i wanted to in my mind.. i just accepted that we all love our little darlings even if they was far from perfect its human nature to protect... School didnt help much as often they would come running out to discuss behaviour.. ie teacher andTA left class leaving my son in there with the bully.. next thing my son had stabbed him in the neck with a pencil! would say it was surely crazy to leave 26 kids alone let alone a child who could not exspress without getting violent and my son who too would hit out.. consequence.. my son excluded.. other child no action.. yet something would havehappened to provoke my son.. teachers threatened to go on strike.. oh and parents was getting petition against me.. should say other child was not hurt an later that day was calling through my letterbox names to my son.. both was 6 at this time..
