baddad Report post Posted May 2, 2010 Leave the poor boy alone. Now what can I rhyme with "Sarah Jane Smith" I wonder... K x FOUL! Of course, I do know how it feels... so to even things out a bit: ODE TO A TV GODDESS Sarah Jane, Oh Sarah Jane You've sprained your ankle once again Fallen, panting, in a quarry Running from the bad guy's lorry And as you squirm there in the scree It seems you're looking straight at me Your eyes are moist, you gently moan You lick your lips and softly groan And though - at 12 - I don't know why Each whispered 'Ow' each breathless sigh Excites in ways I blush to mention Let's just say you've my attention... Oh Sarah, Sarah, Sarah Jane, I'd dress your wounds, I'd heal your pain I'll do your bidding to the letter Keep you safe and kiss it better Forget the Doc, the Daleks too Oh, Sarah, it's just me and you I'll be your timelord - don't resist me Come my love, my light, assist me. Those poor 12 year old's in the lean years when there was no Dr Who There were, of course, the Judy Bowker/Stacey Dawning 'Black Beauty' years, and Sally James on Tiswas, even if she did have to compete with Sarah Greene and Emma Forbes, Maggie Philbin et al, but they never had quite the same appeal as a Dr Who heroine, and I think that really did have something to do with the sprained ankles/knight in shining armour stuff. All very Arthurian, ennit! My brother - four years older than me - had a huge crush on an Actress called Roberta Tovey who played the doctors grandaughter, I think, in the feature film. He also rather liked Lady Penelope off of Thunderbirds! L&P BD

baddad Report post Posted May 2, 2010 And she's still going strong, good old Elisabeth Sladen. My son has taken to watching all the previous David Tennnant episodes. A real treat for me. K x Gotta say I'm with ben on this one... The new doc is better than the old doc (ducks!) Ben enjoyed the Ecclestone episodes but lost interest with DT about halfway through the first series. He's really got interested in the new ones - and not just because of Ms Pond's charms. I'm wary it might get a bit too camp or fraught with sexual tension generally, but so far so good. (Safari Sa-goody!). I loved, Sophie Ekenadahowdoyouspellthatsurname as our future queen, but love her in anything 'cos she's a great actress. Should have made her the docs missus to be instead of Alex Kingston! Still reckon DT could do a lot worse than putting a wer under dubbleyew and a wer under oh etc etc L&P BD

baddad Report post Posted May 4, 2010 Nicola "Machinery"* Bryant for me! (* Apparently Peri had never seen a dalek before) Well I wouldn't have kicked her out of bed for eating biscuits, but she's no SJS! All just timing, I'm sure... If i'd been born ten years later I would probably have had a crush on Bonnie Langford, or ten years earlier on Peter Purves! That would, of course, never, EVER have happened... Bonnie langford! justine1 Report post Posted May 4, 2010 Still in mourning. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=umYU-PjZr6I...feature=related K x Me too I liked the first episode with Matt Smith, maybe cause it was new and fresh, but now I am sooooooooooo not into it!!!It not just cause of DT but the producer Russel Davies has also left so I think even though the new guy was already on the team I am just not "feeling it."
