i watched TV drama on TV in 2006 called 'mysterious creatures' and pre ordered it from HMV on DVD ..... the daughter lisa in it i could really personally relate to in many ways watch it even my mum said she cried when watching it as she reminded her of me! and how i think act and behave especially how i'm affected MH wise by AS! how vulnerable state i get myself into confused upset mess that everywhere so lost ..... doesn't know what to do next .... so heartflet desperate and touching shows how support is so needed and diagnosis early on stop heartache pain misery suffering of sufferers and parents families going on and on more than has to! real life story!

made me cry ... felt so emotional watching it felt like watching myself with my own parents in some parts the personal battles /fights /struggles i have been faced with along the way! help is needed before too little too late this reality shocker is evidence and proof of this if nothing else comes out of this!

i saw this on tv when it was first shown....i agree with you that it really is a moving drama..and the characters were so well acted....i cried..so did my husband..i know i certainly could empathise with the parents and that feeling of hopelessness..and the attitude of public services and health professionals!

I didnt know it was available on dvd..i am gonna go have a look for it now..i couldnt watch it too often..it is far too emotional..but it is certainly one of those films i would want in my collection
