GAF Report post Posted August 4, 2010 New to the site and looking for info on a counsellor local to Bury St Edmunds in Suffolk that is familiar with Adult Aspergers patients for my 23 year old son. He suffers from anxiety when placed in new challenges at work and am looking to find help with coping stragities etc. He had a brief session with the local NHS counsellor who was nice but had no clue about his condition so was pretty much useless. Also this site. http://www.bps.org.uk/the-society/about-ps...ociety_home.cfm I saw a private Child Psychologist for five weeks when J was younger because the CAMHS didnt have any funding for councilling, play therapy and we were in a crisis, It did really help and I recieved a detailed report of Js needs.
