JeanneA Report post Posted November 10, 2010 Has anyone ever bought one? Could anyone tell me their opinion of a peanut ball please? I have been recommended that it could be a good idea for me to get one for my son due to his sensory problems.
tparnell Report post Posted November 17, 2010 Hi, The special school my son goes to uses a peanut ball in their sensory circuit set up by an OT. I have seen him he smiles. He lies on his tummy on a mat and someone rolls the peanut over his body avoiding the head. Doing the exercises has made him more aware of what he likes to feel 'grounded'. At home he asks for you to jump on him sometimes through a cushion. A weighted blanket for sleep also helps loads. Sometimes we do 'people sandwiches which is fun!
