smiley1590 Report post Posted November 22, 2010 have you tried going to local A.S parent support group in your local area looking into that? or going local library looking on books to do with parents with A.S children? XKLX
tparnell Report post Posted November 23, 2010 Don't sweat the small stuff would be my main advice to be honest. Try to focus on the positive, indulge her in her interests and spend time together doing what she wants to do. Be straight forward, say what you mean, tell the truth. That way you will build a relationship based on trust. You will also gain an insight into her way of looking at the world, which will help you to relate to her better and reduce the incidence and severity of any difficult situations. crazyaboutmoo Report post Posted November 28, 2010 Thankyou, difficult isn't it, Im not sure if I should correct her when she says things that are wrong as I'd be correcting her all the time and don't want to grind her into the ground...
