Dear******** You have been allocated the following GP at The ****** Practice Dr. ********* Hopefully this will mean that I'll be back up north again by March... I'm not going to do a happy dance just yet, just in case it all goes wahoonie-shaped. Still, I included a 'This person has autism' card with the letter (got those from the NAS) and a scan of the leaflet provided with the Autism Alert Card, so I hope she'll be prepared! It's such a small practice that I doubt anyone would bother searching for it or whatever... I'm not going to book an appointment until she's read the letter I've sent her (she should get it tomorrow) because I want to know what she's dealing with first! Just have to hope she takes me seriously (though as I (think!) I said in the letter, I'm TERRIFIED of doctors, so why would I want to make stuff up just so I can see one unnecessarily...?)
