Sally44 Report post Posted October 20, 2013 I wondered how many on this forum have a diagnosis of Klinefelters Syndrome. Do you feel that that is your main diagnosis, or do you also have an ASD. Also do you have a Simian Line. And do you suffer from fatigue. I'm starting to wonder if my son has this. And wondering whether to investigate it. How they would get a blood sample out of him is another matter. But do you feel that Klinefelters is different to an ASD and needs different types of support to an ASD. Sally44 Report post Posted October 22, 2013 I've spoken to the KS association today. It appears you can have a test which involves just a collection of saliva. And as for treatment, there are many ways of delivering male hormones other than injection. I just wondered if anyone out there is also diagnosed KS, and whether they also have the fatigue symptoms. I've left a message for the Developmental Paediatrician and hope to speak to her sometime this week.
Sally44 Report post Posted October 24, 2013 Spoken with the Developmental Paediatrician and she agrees he needs screening. She's going to refer him and has confirmed that the test will just involve a swab of his mouth. So now we just have to wait for the date.
