This comment should not be construed to mean individuals with Asperger?s cannot overcome difficulties; they certainly can and do. However, the ride to this resolution is often a bumpy one. Now I know my I will stay resolute at my app on the 17th so that B can move forward and finally know whether her approach to life is due to AS or not. Tylers-mum Report post Posted August 6, 2005 If you have concerns, stick to the appointment. It took me 4yrs to get my Pead to refer my son and finally after I took in bucket loads of filled in questionaires from myself and school, did she finally refer her although she was hesitant. Seen the Autism specialist who confirmed that there are concerns sohopefully, we'll know one way or another within a few months or so. Stick with it. At least at the end of the process, you'll have a 'Yes' or a 'No' rather than 'Is she??' All the very best. Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
