How do you apply for a carer's grant?

Already got a carer's allowance....my friend was telling me about a grant you can apply for ...just for carers...no means test apparently....

 

That why we can not go for the family fund...

 

My friend mention you go thruogh social services...

 

I was wondering if anyone else had gone for it and how they did it.

 

It ok, will ask my key worker tomorrow.
