Hello all,

I recieved this email and thought some of you may be able to help

Smiley xx

Hi everyone,

My name is Jenny Allen. I am an ABA tutor for children with ASD, work

in a

special needs school and am undertaking a masters degree in Clinical

Neuroscience. I am carrying out a 20,000 word clinical dissertation

titled

"the intestinal pathophysiology of autism and implications for the

gluten

free casein free diet" to complete my masters degree.

In order to complete this research, I am urgently interested in hearing

from

families of children with autism who would like to take part in a short

study investigating abnormalities in gut function, food intolerance and

sleep patterns.

The only requirements are that the children are aged between 2 and 12

years,

with a diagnosis of autism.

This study involves:

? A questionnaire which can be filled out on-line

? A one off urine sample to detect abnormalities in the gut function

and

the potential for the gluten-free/ casein free diet.

? A copy of the child's statement

The research is being carried out with the University of Roehampton and

Paul

Shattock from the University of Sunderland and there is no charge for

the

analysis.

If you would like any further information, please contact:

Jenny Allen on: 0784 348 328, or by e-mail: allenjsmsc@hotmail.com

Kind regards,

Jenny Allen
