melg Report post Posted January 7, 2006 I posted this earlier in the wrong place.... Trying again... I want to try a Vitamin B6/magnesium combination and also a B12 supplement for my four and a half year old autistic son. Does anyone know the correct doses to apply. As I don't want to use injections can anyone advise on the easiest way to administer these? Thanks so much. M.
adamsmum Report post Posted January 7, 2006 The health food shop would be the best place ask. Or go to GP and ask them. Vitamins can be a bit dodgey if you're not shore what you're doing
call me jaded Report post Posted January 8, 2006 Kirkman's do methylcobalamin (B12) in powder form. They also do a wide range of B6. Read their product catalogue on their website for more info. Bear in mind no two children respond the same, and your GP may not be aware of the very high doses of B vitamins recommended by the Autism Research Istitute. Have a look at the research on their website. You cannot read too much on this.
