The man who plays the part of Monk is great, getting mannerisms and pet hates to a tee. It is only ever mentioned that he has OCD, but his ability to notice small details and changes, and to think "outside the box" are very Aspie like. It used to be on on a Saturday afternoon, but they are repeating it in the week now. It is interesting to see how he changes when he gets a new assisstant. His first one is very "motherly", making sure he has his wipes and helping him to get round his problems, but his next one pushes him to do things that he doesn't want to do (in a nice way).
