  1. Sorry if I offended you LicklePaulie. I'm very new since discovering about ASD and as I wrote at the beginning I'm feely very down to the point I feel like there is no pointing in doing anything, living etc. So I just wanted to give myself a little hope, that's all. I'm not even thinking about becoming famous and I don't think I would like the spotlight. It's nothing unusual I seem to offend people whatever I do even when I have good intention. It has come to the point that people dislike me instantly by first sight before even I speak. So I don't go out anymore.
  2. I've suddenly become Michael Jackson's fan after all these years and I can't stop listening "This is it". It's on "repeat" as a matter of fact. Glad I don't have anyone else around to drive them mad! What are you listening? asnewb PS - can't wait for the release of his new film on 28th. If they let me stay in the cinema all day I would.
  3. I think if you take any medication or natural supplement, the body will get used to it and the effect wares off with long term use. Have you thought about hypnosis cd or fancy learning conversational hypnosis where you use relaxing words and your child will get sleepy and SLEEPIER? lol I can recommend someone if you don't know anyone to learn from. I was watching Derren Brown's "stuck to the chair" video and did I feel very sleepy all of a sudden or what!
  4. trekster, Thanks for your posts and it's fantastic that you've got your own book and A-level to show off. Do you know about www.lulu.com and lightening source? You can print as little as one to sell on the internet. I get old out of print books printed brand new. asnewb
  5. Thank you for the link Jannih and everyone for your reply. I have yet to be diagnosed. I've got an appointment with my GP in mid November. From what I read, school children aren't getting much help, being a high functioning adult, doubt I'd get any help at all though.
  6. Hi, Do we think alike? It's an innocent record breaking video but what thought comes to your mind? I'll keep mine till little later so as to not influence your answer.
  7. I am feeling gutted that I might have ASD, it means I will not accomplish and feeling rather down and dump right now. So please give me a hope by listing famous people who achieved greater things even with ASD. Do you think Einstein had it?
  8. Are you trying to be sarcastic ? Cos I don't know, please speak in plain language.
  9. Hi, Because I appear to think different, I have noticed that I do a small *giggle* when I spot something completely out of context of things happening at the time. It could be that the wind is blowing really strong and I could be thinking like, any minute the wig could fly off or something like that crazy.... Obviously people say "what ARE you laughing about!??", they just don't get it which is fine. But how can I stop doing it? I can't help ideas coming to my head.

Hi, This may sounds a strange question but... I saw , which was on NAS youtube account and he said he stands up for Autism. What's the connection? Is he also autistic? Just curious cos I can imagine he's an intense man, compulsive but brilliant!
  11. I actually prefer to use machine and do it myself than having to deal with people e.g. cashier!
  12. I wonder where HE thinks home is I am still, to this day, thinking...I want to go home though I don't have anyone to talk about it and I'm 42
  13. Wow, did anyone see this video of an elderly gentleman's work? He supposedly has ASD.
  14. I do this just as you've desribed and I thought everyone does it Is it not normal??
