  1. I don't know if they are the regular questions but I would be mighty suspicious of her motives.

I had one Ed pysch who reported to the school that because I am a lone parent and disabled I clearly can't cope...I removed my permission immediately for her to see my son. She also made sweeping statements to others

'your house and garden is far too big for him to cope with' ....parent was living with 5 children in a luxury 7 bed house with acre gardens

'your house is far too small for your daughter to live her without incident'....parent living in 2 bed flat for the 2 of them

Her reputation proceeded her in the Occupational Therapist department in that area!

  2. Well not looked it up or anything but I would have thought the mere fact that it has been prescribe to help with night time problems should say you have problem before you go on to explain more

Edited to add..you take pain killers to get rid or ease pain but you mention those and just because you take them it does not mean you don't have a problem

  3. Actually I did at one point as my best friend would say. I never used to be able to go round his house until the videos (note that this was a while ago), cds and books were in order and I had hoovered the floor. I even put his mums readers digest in chronological order for her.. *tidy fingers awaaaayyyyy*

In that case...an open invite to tidy my house when ever you feel like! :D

  4. They are all in order and the shelves are now not covered in inches of dust.

Do you do that is other people houses too? ;) My house is a tip at present!

Sometimes to have a good rant/moan/whinge does you good

  5. YES, provided you have child care obviously. Home Education means educating away from state schools with or without the parents, it can be done by a tutor if you so wish or you can educated in the evening or what ever time suits you. The well being and care of your child needs to meet..that's it.

  6. Right I am going to have a argh moment that has nothing to do with AS

Flipping bad French lesson with 'ello 'ello pronunciations....Officer Crabtree would be proud of some of the things my daughter is being taught, then praised for. She gets home and I have to teach her all over again!

The classic to day....written how it's said

jeamy le glassy for jem le glass (jaime le glac)

jeamy le pom for jem le pom (jaime le pomme)...which incidentally the children were told it meant

    I like potatoes :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

  7. sign of a miss spent life ironing!

I have a big American style washer...I wash once a week when we start to run out of clothes. 4 loads, darks, white, jumpers and towels. Although it's getting warmer now so I shall be down to 3 loads and half load darks soon.

  8. My son does 30 mins lessons, more if he is want to and we miss out others. He likes the fast pace. Really you need to sort things out to the children's needs and ensure you factor in breaks for you and them. We do half to a days worth of out door learning twice a week. Presently that's tending the veg seeds, caring for the chickens and watering them and the veg. But later on it will be foraging and harvesting.

You do not need to follow the National Curriculum, although I do feel it wise that my son should do English, Maths and reading.

I sat down with my son and spoke about what he would like to do and we sorted out between us a very loose timetable of lessons and activities. If you want to see is I can email it to you.
