hi everyone well its now the next year and guess what?? !! no blue badge!! this is a nightmare can anyone pls tell me who nthey reccomend as a good person to write a cover letter for me to enclose with the form as i am going to reapply! incase you didnt read my last post i wote " my son aged 6 gets dla high care low mob, i get dla mid care low mob and was turned down for a blue badge. happy new year to all by the way! hope you all survived christmas and new year and the hair is growing bak lol ! luv ya all x

hi, thanks for your replies i will look into this more, yes my son has also got dla higher care and lower mobility where as im on mid care low mobility i am trying a joint (well for him but strongly mentioning myself also) lol application now. ill keep you posted many thanks x

<'> hello RQ i have a son aged six with asd he was only diagnosed about three weeks ago so its still "sinking in " as it was. but i will say please dont apolgise for moaning or being morbid as you said. it is nice to hear from someone who is actually stating how i feel most of the time,The people on here have been excellent and soooooooooo understanding. we are all suffering as it was from the same or very very simular situations or emotions . the east berkshire autistic society are excellent people to talk to and have coffee mornings once a month and are available for phone calls or home visits ,i have vented off steam asked loads of questions and to them loads lol. please be assured that myself and others like to hear you moan as it reminds us all we are not alone in our "daily nightmares". i am sorry im not much help as regards your questions but am here if you need to talk. keep your chin up x x x <'>

awwww thanks both that have replied so far! i relly appreciate your advice as he was diagnosed less than a week ago and im soooooo upset about it all, i feel so alone and i know im not so thought sharing a mo on here may help and it looks like it will be a god send!!! any advice will not go a miss. thanks

please please can anyone help me im going mad,my son (aged 6) has just been diagnosed with asd. i am sooooo glad that we now have an answer to the question "why is he doing/done that ?" if you understand what i mean ,but alll is getting well underway to sorting a key worker ,social worker ,speech therapist ,etc etc etc for him but please what about me??? can i get some advise or help on how to cope??? i feel like i am stupid but surely now we know what causes his behavour there should be a certain way i should be aiding/dealing with him. ie is there one way of dealing with their behavour for ""normal"" children and one way for ""autistic"" children. oh pls someone help me.i went to the doctors yesterday their answer was giving me antidepressants!!
