im looking for people to talk to who are around the 18 yrs old, or anyone who is looking to make some online friends? i luv listening to music (rock and metal), making things, keeping fish and cacti and luv learning. i work with children (despite my terrible communication skills) although it helps me to understand what its like at school from the perspective of a child and im currently training at level 2. had alot of experiences both good and bad, bin through the mill though i no my story aint so shocking. so if youve read this and thought, 'nah' please dont just walk away, this is the chance for people who are lonely/ isolated or have no one that understands them to come foward and have a chat more as friends rather than just on a forum! Catfish.

hi Nobbnobbs, whats your degree in? dont see it like that lol, the more qualifications you have the better, child care, its hard work but i wouldent swap it for anything.

while i have the chance to bring it up, i work with children which was a carrer change for me, now having AS and working with children was seen by alot of people as a really bad thing, i was refused from a number of colleges saying i wouldent pass!!!, i have since completed my level 1 with full marks and and now completing my level 2, so as well as work, training providers can be very discriminating. apparently alot of Aspies go for jobs in admin, although its always good to no wot you actually want to do.

hi, my parents have been trying to get me statemented for 15 years, theyve gone to everyone you can think of and more, now im 18 ive got to continue the fight, at current im on a waiting list to see a neurologist, which actually sounds quiet good, but ive had to go to another doctor, GP's arnt really that helpful are they? keep fighting, i no i want this more than anything and itl be great to get it, just think like that!

hi, there are a few reasons why i joined the forum, but the main one is i have very few friends and my last proper friends has just started 12 weeks army training so i feel really isolated, what im trying to say is there anyone who would like to chat more about life and stuff that friends do?

hi, i no this sounds strange but your really lucky that your parents have writen it down, i went nearly 3 months without talking to my parents and they never told me everything, im still trying to get the truth out today, but i was such hard work when i was younger they feel burnt out so dont worry were all in the same boat here!

by the way, its really true, dont fart because i did it once and there was a really nice lady behind me!

ive been too 2 social groups 1 was with serverly disabled adults (and im high functioning) and the other i got asked out!!, so you never no wot might happen!
