Maybe he is saying it because he likes the phrase and its become a habit ? Or he's trying to process that there is no school, trying to get his head round that , it will take a while to sink in and then he wont be able to believe his luck! I always found this with my son. By the time school was about to start up again, he'd eventually got used to no school and was in a pleasant mood, for it all to go and be spoilt again!

What a worry for you . Can you go and see your Dr and tell him ? He will refer you to camhs . Then maybe you can look at giving your son medication to take the edge off his aggression ? This was the only thing that worked for us . It doesnt have to be forever , x

Yes. I swear these kids are sent to destroy us . At best compromise us . Someone said to me yesterday if you knew you'd spend your life 'clutching at straws' and 'praying you were psychic' , would you bother , given we only get one go at life ?

He may have had a sudden pain or a twinge or a sensation and was reacting to that. Could even have had a headache ?

thats very sad . just heard my sons psycologist was killed in a road traffic accident four months ago. he was such a kind genuine and warm man, and real one off , it really is utter ######. , x

My immediate thoughts are, that if a child is not generalising things learnt into other environments, then that points to needing it to be practised in different environments and with different people more, not less. Otherwise his progress is limited to his environment in school
Thus, keeping the person 'autistic' . There is a dire lack of 'outreach' /'therapy' in this country. NO ONE in my experience , has explored this area . Sally you are on to something here .

If someone is irrationally phobic of heights or spiders etc, you wouldn't demand that all buildings become one story, or we round up all the spiders, you would tell the affected people to use some kind of therapy to overcome their phobia, x

I would report to the police any dog that came at me, I dint care if it "wont bite", if it runs at me it is out of control.
I sincerely hope they would caution you for wasting valuable police time, especially in a park , x

There will always be irrational people. Like one stupid girl who ran into the middle of the road when i was walking our labrador (then just 4 months old!) down the pavement. There will always be idiots who who completely over react and as a result put themselves and others in danger

Lol, so every dog should be on a lead because of a humans irriational fear of dogs ? I can understand in the street, if it keeps the peace. Not everyone understands animals. But in the park, no, dogs need to be excercised.
What are you going to do, call the poilce because you have a fear of dogs?

Poor you Jeanne , i know all about this. The only thing that worked for me was getting drunk and riding it out. Give him the largest dose of painkillers. 2 disolvable paracetamol plus 2 disolvable neurofen meltlets every four hours on the dot. Id give my son a slighly extra dose of risperdal as well . Im sure he will improve soon, x
