    Hmmmm...

"oh your hair is beutiful, oh tonight!! Atomic!"
  2. hiya, i just need a quick rant and maybe some opinions my daughter(E) goes to school on the school minibus, she's 11 and goes to a special school where most of the kids have asd. and on top of the asd, hormones are kicking in now as well so she can be a bit short tempered to say the least! and she has a bit of a history of overeacting to things and losing her temper with people, even hitting, kicking or scratching them. anyway yesyerday when she got home the bus escort told me she'd scratched a boy on the bus and she would have to report it to the office, she said she tried to explain to E that the other kids weren't doing anything to her but E said they were "winding her up" (this is all the escort told me) this morning i asked E about it again, now that she'd slept on it and was calmer. she said the boy, who is in year 11, was swearing at her (thats something that really upsets her) and taking pictures of her getting angry with his phone. now i'm not saying she was right to scratch him but if someone did that to me on the bus, i wouldn't exactly be happy about it. but hes the one with the scratched arm and she's "the naughty one" so it must be all her fault she does know that hurting people is wrong, she came home in tears because she knew she'd done something she shouldn't have, saying "i know i'm mean. i'm a bully" but she doesn't react like that for no reason at all and this boy gets the same bus as E every day, he must know how easily wound up she gets by now. and i dont know what the point of the bus escort is when she sits at the front with her back to the kids and when E tries to tell her they're winding her up (which is what she knows is the right thing to do) she tells E they're not doing anything! i'm thinking i should give my own "report to the office" if only to tell E's side of the story! i just need to know i'm at least a bit right, this isn't really fair is it?
  3. its a depressing time of year. the weathers c.r.a.p. christmas is long gone, did you say you've got uni work to worry about again as well. i dont know, i guess you just need to cheer up. i know thats easier said than done and i dont mean to make it sound trivial but maybe you just need to try and find time to do something that makes you happy. i dont know what makes you happy. most things that cheer me up are outdoor summer weather things
  4. yeah youre right baddad if only there was a prenatal test for ignorance!
  5. "But looking on, as a relatively dispassionate observer; looking at the damage done, the absence of hope and the anguish of the poor child himself, do I think that everyone concerned would have been better off if Tom's had been a life unlived? Unequivocally, yes." ######! and this kids mother is supposed to be her friend?! yeah it does sound from the way she tells it, that he is particularly challenging and i'm sure in her ignorance she thinks shes just being realistic, but negative comments like that aren't helpful to anyone
